Mad Girls Love Song

Mad Girls Love Song is a psychological short film inspired by Sylvia Plath’s poem of the same name, exploring identity, memory, and the blurred lines between reality and illusion through the fractured psyche of a female protagonist. The film examines the emotional aftermath of heartbreak and the slow unraveling of self, offering a nuanced portrait of mental health, grief, and inner transformation. It was made possible with support from the California Arts Council’s Cali Catalyst Grant, the Eastside Arts Initiative Artist Grant, and the Port of Long Beach Arts Grant.
